My name is Lene Daugaard. I was born 5. juni 1961.
I live in a small village in Denmark, with my hubbi, daughter and 5 funny cats.
I draw and paint as much as possible.
I am passioned about drawing and painting. Whether realism, expressive art or surface patterndesign - I'm addicted!
I always had a deep love for animals and nature. Sitting at my drawingtable or standing at my easel I strive to transform all my feelings for viewers to discover and enjoy the very same.
It's not a hobby - it's me, and it permeates my life, where ever I am and what ever I do. It gives me great pleasure, mixed with nerves and excitement.
I was always drawing in my childhood, and then as now, animals plays a major role.
I enjoy creating art with strokes and colors.
I want to create visual stories, that the viewer will find interesting, exciting, beautiful and catchy.
My realistic drawings and paintings demands many classical skills. I love animals and my artwork tells about my joy and facination.
I have international succes with my realistic artwork.
A part of my artwork are imaginative, whether abstractive or illustrative.
In 2011 I have started developing surface patterndesigns, I enjoy it very much.
I constantly get new ideas..
I cannot live without a sketchbook for ideas!
I have a background in classic drawing.

I also enjoy walking in nature. It is the best place to get energized for me. Even it's fine to have human company at times, walking alone or with a dog, is when I really feel and explore nature and find, I bond with a deeper sense of life.
