Yet an update on my oil-practice-piece ;)
Phew, it's been up hill, I tell you. But I have just a tiny bit more confidence now.
I think, if I find it worth continuing with, that oilpainting requires working on 2 artwork at a time due to the drying time.
I use WinsorNewtons artisan, watersoluble oils, as I cannot stand the smell of solvents used with ordinary oilpaint.
It should be ready to send to my teacher - Melanie at London artcollege - rather soon.

Det er da utrolig flot Lene, saa selv om det har vaeret op ad bakke, er resultatet virkelig smukt. Jeg har selv lige skrevet mig ind paa et oliemaling kursus, begynder naeste uge, og er meget spaendt paa, om det faenger.

Very nice work Lene. What are the water soliable oils like to use?
It's always good to try different mediums. I have a couple of new mediums to try out when I have the time.

thanks Dors. Well, the oils are a bit thick to use I find. I have used acrylics before, but the flow-type. Also you can keep blending in oils, the acrylics dry fast - so not quite the same ;)
